Everybody wants a different back cover...I did too. If you paint the cover you have to pain the stylus and area around the usb port too. I f you order one from sprint ...if they come out with any...you have to do the same thing!!

U only have to paint the stylus if you choose to do so.
It looks nice with colored accents.

I thought for a second that expansys had a direct fit battery cover in grey, but looking at the bottom it's obvious that's not the case. I guess when I get my phone I'll decide if I like it and then paint the battery cover - I've painted cars... a battery cover shouldn't be too hard

The burgandy back is not all that bad. Yeah, I wish it were black or grey or even black chrome but oh well.

I'd like to swap my cover out for a black or brushed metal one... that would complete the diamond look for me.

It doesn't matter too much, I'm swapping this out for a Tegra device once those hit the market

well i got my hands on an extra sprint cdma back so im going to try chrome/silver on the spare on and post pics

yeh id consider painting it black but not until there are extra battery covers available. I wouldnt really care about the tiny bit of red on the stylus or usb port itd prob look nice accenting the all-black. Plus i wont tinker with a $550 risking Sprint techs giving me crap for opening up the device to get rid of 1/2 sqaure inch of maroon.

All I'm saying is...when I'm surfing the web, or texting someone, or playing a game, or taking a picture, or listening to music, or checking my email, or flashing a new Rom, or tweaking my settings, or installing new apps, or checking my local weather forecast, or making and receiving phone calls...I CAN'T EVEN SEE THE BACK OF MY PHONE...LMAO

Heh... good point. But for me, its more about impressing others... Sounds messed up, but I like it when people think my phone is cool.
