Can unwanted Sprint programs be removed?

Not unless you install the CAB manually. That is the entire point of hard resetting, then soft resetting twice...to stop all the Sprint add-on crap. You will not have PicMail, SprintTV, Opera, Sprint Music or Sprint Navigation. The cabs will always be part of the stock Sprint ROM but they will not initialize. You can go back into the /Windows directory in File Explorer and install whatever cabs you want manually.
