Re: Diamond mail issue.
Most of the latest email clients are using auto detect to configure those settings. You may see a check box that you can uncheck to setup the account manually.

Re: Diamond mail issue.
I was trying to manually do it. Even when you click on "advanced settings" it does not show any port settings.

Re: Diamond mail issue.
Typically if you enter in the incoming and outgoing server as pop.mailserver.com then it will search for the port. I have tried to just finalize the install and run a test?

Re: Diamond mail issue.
For WM6.1 you don't have to input port numbers as far as I know. Just try the auto detect first, and if that doesn't work then uncheck it and input the pop.mailserver.com and smtp.mailserver.com and that should work.

Re: Diamond mail issue.
Oh, I entered in both correctly and even tried auto detect and it still gives me an error. My mail server has to be authenticated and whatever ports it's setting up for me aren't correct.

Re: Diamond mail issue.
You might want to check your username and password and make sure they are getting entered correctly. That would be my first guess. You might also want to make sure that you are getting a data connection.

Re: Diamond mail issue.
if those don't work, enter in your incoming and outgoing servers and after the server add a ":" and the port number. ex. smtp.mailserver.com:495
