What's up with the HTC Touch HD?

It has been seen: a full screen, no button/DPAD nav, Touch. It's and obvious direct competitor for the iPhone. It's called the Touch HD. As of now it's GSM only...

I don't see anything about it here on PPCG. You can't search for it because "hd' doesn't meet the minimum word length for the search feature.

So post up. What do you know? What have you heard? I'm hearing a Christmas release on AT&T.
