ive had about 6 different PDA's over the past 4 years and never used them i found them to reduce the touch sensitivity and they bothered me.

never had a damaged screen yet. i keep them in a holster or case always. no pocket for my devices UNLESS im on my motorcycle. then i put it in an empty pocket with nothing els in it.

my treo still looks mint after 2 years. well the scree :P it has the usual wear and tear (finish is rubbing off the battery door)

So.. I just noticed that the Touch Pro has a battery with the same capacity as our Telus Touch Diamonds.. 1340 mAh. I also notice these batteries are available on ebay for around $26 CAD shipped. For example: http://cgi.ebay.ca/BATTERY-FO-HTC-To...QQcmdZViewItem

What do you guys think? Are they the same battery? Would a Touch Pro battery fit into my Touch Diamond?

I just bought one to try. For ~$20, even if it didn't work for the Diamond, I will have a spare when I buy the Pro. I will let you konw.

Cool Now the question is if I have the patience to wait a couple weeks for yours to arrive, then a couple more for mine to if I end up getting one then hehe.. I might just end up getting one to try too!

Are you sure the GSM Models have same battery as CDMA models.

I was speaking to Mugen Batteries, they are planning to release a 2200 m Ah battery with replacement back cover for Sprint Touch Diamond.

On my old Touch, the 1100 mAh battery sucked, Seidio sold a 1500 mAh battery that was awesome and fit into the Touch.

I am hoping someone will manufacturer a replacement battery for Diamond that has 30% better battery life than stock battery. I am sure the one Telus Mobility will sell is same as one inside Diamond.

I guess to me the more important question is when will someone create a ROM or when will HTC do a ROM update that gives better battery performance.

I have a friend that has iPhone 3G, with Apple new software update, the battery life is much better.

The engineers at HTC do not seem to understand that someone should be able to get 8 to 10 hours on single change with MS Push email and 1 to 2 hours of talking with bluetooth headset.

The battery seem to be a afterthought!!

Still waiting for the battery to arrive. Wrote the seller and they claim is "mail delay". I think it's coming from Hong Kong. Will report back when I actually get the battery...
