Internal Memory Question

If i were to try a cooked rom and i make a back up with my sprite software to the internal memory. will that be turfed too? should i just copy it off to my pc?

in hd is seperate from the phone rom that doesnt get wiped with the resets. it will function just like our sd cards but you just cant remove it.
