Compact QWERTY keyboard

i tried to change it to a full on screen QWERTY but the setting wont stick any one els have this issue?

if you are trying to do it from settings control panel it won't stick at all. you have to click just slightly off from the keyboard icon at the bottom of the screen when you have text or whatever open and choose the keyboard you want from there. then it will stick.
