Sorry to burst your bubble, but I just got another reply from Sprint. I emailed them this morning to see if the Sep 2 date is still the launch date. I am happy to say that they said Sep. 2 is STILL the planned release. Weeeeeeeee!

The "front line" support...people that answer the phone and email are usually the last to know. I would be pleasantly surprised if it came out sooner, but at this point it looks like the ~2 week delay is correct looking at the number and position of the sources.
