Diamond prelim tele-sales date

Just go off the phone with tele-sales attempting to purchase the Diamond and was advised the preliminary date of September 14 to be in their system

sigh... this is about in line with the 2 week delay we kept hearing about though (for the advocate program and such)....

ahhh excuse me, I thought the relese date was suposed to be today!!! Aug, 28! Im sick of this crap! I'm ready to leave and go to att!

Just wait for it when it comes out it comes out! IT WILL BE BEFORE '09! there.

You can't be mad at Sprint for the fact that they have never offically given a launch date.

All the dates here are from someone's co-worker's sister's uncle's brother's mother's friend of a friend that knows someone that works are a subway next to a sprint store.

Exactly. And ATT doesnt have a diamond class phone out either.

Well, I have to agree with the above poster that we really can't blame sprint.

Hopefully we'll start getting news on the Touch Pro soon, though.

Then go to Att. Sprint Never set an official release date. you got all your info off the internet. Don't blame Sprint for something that they never claimed.

I called this morning and the sales rep put me on hold while he went to check. He came back in a couple of minutes and told me that I would be able to buy the Diamond on Sept. 2. The only reason that I'm posting this is to put out the information. It seems that not even the Sprint sales people are putting out the same info so my opinion is that the Diamond will go on sale when it goes on sale.

Its not that big a deal, the sun isn't going to fall out of the sky because it didn't go on sale today and it won't if it doesn't go on sale on the 2nd. I can't believe all the sturm und drang going on with some people because they can't get it right now. Its just a phone people, no reason to get your knickers all bunched up!

an interesting side note to this. I was on the sprint site today and noticed that the mogul is no longer on there... (maybe i'm slow, but I just noticed it.)
