Re: Sprint Diamond or wait for Android
if that is the case, then there really is no reason to wait 6 months for an android phone to come on sprint, since i doubt the specs will be much better than the diamond. also, you would be able to use android as soon at is available instead of having to wait for the phone release.

Re: Sprint Diamond or wait for Android
I can't wait till the middle of next month for a phone that is already developed and ready to ship (i.e. Diamond). How on earth do you expect someone to wait for a phone that is not even developed yet ?

Well, if that's the phone they really want, I suppose they don't have a choice. |

Re: Sprint Diamond or wait for Android
Being a former Linux embedded systems developer, when I get time later this year I'll probably spend time helping out with a decent port of Android to the Diamond platform.
I intend to get a Diamond or a Touch Pro, not sure yet. I have a Touch, and appeal to having a pull out keyboard, but with fancy enough programming I'm sure a touch screen could be made usable. I like that the Diamond is thinner so that I can add an extended battery. With the Touch Pro, it would be unreasonably thick after adding an extended battery IMO. |
