do a hard reset and start over software wise

no problem. and after a crash like that hard reset is the only option. the telus rom is sucky to the max. im not even using it :P

thats weird... when i got home i connected the phone to my pc to backup everything before a hard reset.. as soon as i did this, everything started working perfectly.. yet when it crashed before, the battery power was full...

any ideas?

I would.. but you're all crazy

The server makes no difference, as it's the same data you're downloading. I've used both and get the same result. Maybe I'll do it later this week.

could be due to sever load at the time then.

I would have to agree.

If some of you remember, I actually had the QPST saying those settings, and the registry settings saying the other at one point.

ANYWAYS I just tested it again, from hard reset, and got a lock in ~3 seconds. I'll upload new TT7 and registry cab shortly.

First page has been updated with NEW GPS Registry Settings cab, NEW TT7 cab and updated gpsOne settings.

I advise anyone and everyone to get the new ones

Sorry Juggalo_X, I had a hell of a night... and now I am on a road trip for my business. I talked to a friend about doing the little hack for satellite connection and he told me that I was asking for problems, that my phone qill start to behave eradically!

Dont know what to think now, and if I have some troubles, will it be a pain in the *SS to switch back to the regular settings from the Telus rom

Damn, I dont want pain and trouble, just the GPS to work has intended... FREE and not give 120$ a year to Telus (wich makes enough dough off of me)

Thanks for the help guys, I will probably go on with the hack, just because getting an iPhone would make me just like all the other sheeps out there!

Will keep you inform of my "transition" to working GPS.

One question though, with the new GPS registry.cab I wont be force to go edit the registry manually right?? Like I would have known what to edit anyways lollll
