, i have at least 20 usb cables lying around, almost in every corner of my life, everything nowaday come with a usb cable that's compatible with diamond, at least for data purpose. If he can't find another cable, nothing to say

Hi I was saying that I do not want to buy a replacement of my htc diamond not the usb cable.

I will buy any kind of cable.

I have tried like 4 cables and sometimes it conects and changes and sometimes it does not.

I actually recently had a friend who had something similar on a Blackberry something or another device. Only his usb cable would let the computer recognize the device or let the red light come on (wouldn't charge though). No other cables worked at all, and in the end, another friend straightened the pins or something, and then it was like new. Try looking at the pins perhaps to see if anything looks out of place.
