My signal turned crappy!!!

It sounds like your replacement Diamond may have a faulty cdma radio. Especially if you are losing signal in the same locations you had no signal issues using your original Diamond. You can try flashing the Sprint Radio Firmware, and see if it fixes your signal loss issues before requesting another replacement. Check out this thread:

The above download will just re-flash your radio, so you should not lose any of your information. That said, please let us know what fixes the issue, so other members can be enlightened as well.

I have tried a custom rom with no luck on the signal, I will try to reflash the radio.

I'm having the same problem here. I got mine "repaired" the screen wasn't turning on. Since i got it back from them, i'm mostly getting 1X where i would usually get EVDO and losing my data connection and the phone sometimes gets really hot and the battery drains in like an hour. On top of that, constant dropped calls and people on the other end can barely hear me.

I'm having the same problems when i run Android on it too.

Edit: I've actually had to get this phone fixed 3 times already for different problems. Do you think i could get them to offer me a different phone because of all these problems?
