Sprint HTC Diamond, Flashed to MetroPCS ROM capabilities..?

Ok so my friend had his sprint diamond flashed to metropcs, but he wants me to hook him up w/ wm6.5 and all that but I'm just nervous cuz I've never flashed a ROM to a phone with a diff service than what's intended for it...

I've flashed about a bajillion times and a few diff phone brands etc, and I'm curious is there anything special I have to do in this case, besides unlock, flash, done..?? Thanks

Um... from my memory...

Don't let the carrier settings run.
You will need to re-set the internet settings (as it uses a proxy).

Probably more, but it's been over a year for me.
