Have keyboard start when clicking reply box

Is there a registry edit or cab so that when i click on the reply box in text messages the keyboard will open up instead of having to click on the keyboard icon.

check this reg setting:

HKCU\ControlPanel\Sip\

make sure TurnOffAutoDeploy is set to 0
