Re: Selling Touch Diamond on Craigslist, Anything I need to do about ESN?
Sprint is pain about releasing esn's but from what I remember from working for them. Just switch the phone to another one (call sprint) switch to your new phone or another one you got and that usually clears the phone to be used again by anyone else.
The problems people run into for example is if you have an account don't pay it sprint cancels you and all that good stuff then that phone is useless. |

Re: Selling Touch Diamond on Craigslist, Anything I need to do about ESN?
Well I just switched to T-mobile and I had them transfer my number. After that was done in a few hours my Sprint account is gone. I have nothing on the website or anything. Is there any way to check the ESN?

Re: Selling Touch Diamond on Craigslist, Anything I need to do about ESN?
You can call Sprint and ask them to check the ESN. Assuming you didn't have a balance with them or any reason for them to lock the ESN, you should be fine.
You could also visit any Sprint store or 3rd party Sprint Retailer and ask them to check the ESN. To protect yourself, I would try and do this prior to the sale. I would also meet the person at a Sprint/3rd Party Sprint store to have them verify the ESN for the seller. That is how I handle all used phone transactions that are not eBay.
