Re: Anyone made the droid OS work on Diamond?

I thought someone over at XDA got this working (on another device, forget which one)

But yeah, his method allowed you to replace WinMo entirely, and just run Android.

Im typing in Opera Mini, so I cant post links, but Im sure a Google search can find it.

Edit: I didnt find tHe thread I was looking in, but I did see one for the Vouge. In any case, never mind what I said earlier, as I read something about cdma not having a compatible kernal, or something, but alas, gsm is fine

Awesome, thanks! I see now that Android is device dependent I guess, in so far as coders can hack it to run with the hardware. Nice!

Re: Anyone made the droid OS work on Diamond?

I can say personally that it does work on the Diamond but it has some bugs that need to be fixed and the speed isn't ideal.
