Unfortunately most customer service people at metro are too lazy, dont know enough to do their job, or a combination of both. I feel you pain cuz I had to do a lot of driving around til i found someone that could do it.
I have had a diamond on metro for about 9 months an this is what I learned,
1) you have to go to a corporate store to do it. No one else can guarantee it will be activated into the system.
2) Dont go when they are busy. Sad to say customer service drops proportionately to customer volume.
3) Dont take any excuses. When you first give them the phone most will say that they dont think it can be done (translation "im too lazy" or "i dont know how to do it")
4) If you find someone that will try they will hook it up to their Houdini system. It "Will" say that it can be done but when they try they will get an error.
5) They will need to call customer support at Houdini to show them the "work around" to get it working correctly.
6) Once they are done you will be on metro and will have the fun researching on the internet on how to get more than just phone calls and text messaging working again.
Hope this helps. But if you are still interested in selling it let me know.
