Can we customize the lockscreen?

I've been enjoying fiddling around with my new phone and i am so glad I don't have to soft reset every day anymore! woot, go Droid! Anyways, a couple of small things I would like to modify and I've been diving the market place and can't quite find what I want, not even sure if it exists actually.. basically I want to have my next alarm info should up on the lock screen, I would also like to replace the TELUS text above the lock bar with something else and if possible disable the "menu" to unlock feature so that I don't accidentally unlock by just hitting a button..anyone got an app for that? or are there settings in the phone itself that I missed?

Next alarm i not sure yet, as for the Telus text that the identifier of the current network that may not be removable. as for the menu button issue. i have found setting an unlock swipe pattern fixes this and is fun/cool to have.

Im a long time WM developer just getting used to droid too so im sure i could learn a few things from every one else still.

The swipe pattern works for the lockscreen, thanks. I found an app called Final countdown that will make a widget to countdown to a specific time so I guess the workaround is I set it for the same time as my alarm. Downsides are that I have to reset it everyday as there is no recurring event option and its a widget and not on the lockscreen, but I'll make do for now I guess lol..
