Sense 3.5 port? - Page 3

My wife and I have an Arrive, she loves it and is coming from a Touch Pro. I am coming from a Touch Pro 2. The only thing I miss from my Touch Pro 2 is WiFi sharing and its worldphone capability when I travel.

Other than that, I don't miss restarting it every day, nor do I miss the slowness of Sense and the general laginess. The phone just works and I don't have to mess with it. One of my friends switched to the Arrive from her TP2, and another switched from an Android device because they got sick of all the lag, and slowness. They love their WP7s.

Now, I myself dig the Metro UI. Wish I had some more customization like additional colors or backgrounds, wifi sharing. But the phone works great, quick, responsive, sometimes i'll restart it after a week because I want to feel the nostalgia from the old WM days.

verizon only has one phone and im not sure if i want to or not at this point.

Well Verizon was seen at the Nokia World a few days ago, which would lead me to believe that Verizon may very well be getting a Nokia device Q1 2012. If not, im sure Verizon/Sprint should be getting another HTC device of some sort.

I would wait for a 2nd gen device to hit before renewing your contract. Or you could always buy a 1st gen device and turn around and sell it to purchase a 2nd gen.

verizon doesn't seem very interested in wp7 from what im hearing and seeing. yeah ill be waiting until after x-mas to see what devices come out. my contract is until june 2013 so whatever i buy will be full price. ill be skipping the trophy, ive heard it has really bad battery life and no ffc.

Yeah but Verizon had reps at Nokia World a few days ago, didn't read anything about ATT or Sprint there. So there is hope.

Hell I wish Sprint would get the HTC Titan, 4.7" screen = drool.

I played with an HD7 in a t-mobile store in Chicago and it was a great device had a nice solid feel to it,its just a lil bit smaller than the titan. I also got a speed of 21mbs on 3G which is faster than sprint wi-max and that's just sad.

same can be said about u dude needless to say folks if u get an evo/3d or an arrive draw ur own conclussions their all smart phones .. and to op not to be rude but if u really want sense 3.5 and ur on the sprint network prolly best to buy an evo or an evo3d root it and find a ported rom or switch carriers and buy the rhyme thru tmo and fyi all these phones suck at times and sometime they can be good smart phones but in the end it's ur opinion that matters ..
