Re: Mango Has been released for the Arrive today Official!

there's nothing wrong with using Zune to install updates because OEMs bundle new firmware for them and they can't be installed OTA, apple does it this way too. its also easier to backup the device should something go wrong in the process. it is possible that smaller updates will be distributed OTA but larger ones will still require Zune.

Re: Mango Has been released for the Arrive today Official!

I'm thinking about picking an Arrive up just to try out Windows Phone. I was a longtime WM user but have moved on to Android, never had anything against WP7 just never tried it, the Arrive is the only WP on Sprint right?

There's one for $80 on my local craigslist. If I pick it up can I do all the updates(Mango, market Apps) over wifi, won't be activating the phone?

@gullzway yup u don't have to have it activated in order to do all of that. all u need is a windows live id. I recommend u make a new one and not use one u had since high school and such.
