I haven't seen much activity in this forum, so I was wondering..how many people own an Arrive?

Didnt pre-order but got it on the first Sunday it came out.

got mine 5 days after. was surprised Microsoft Store carried them, lol

i figure most people browsing the Arrive sub-forum will have one :P

There just isn't too many mods yet...once some mods come out you'll probably see more activity.

had mine since day 1 too. enjoying it despite the sprint coverage issues in my area due to the 2/1 blizzard that damaged cell sites. the repairs are taking forever.

Basically, go use the iPhone for a while, and if you like it, you'll love the Arrive. If you don't, then you won't like the Arrive. It's a simple iperating system.

I finally got the Focus and used it for a day over the weekend. Using the Atrix for work today but when I go home I'm switching back and updating to NoDo

As far as comparing it to the iPhone, I think the OS is very similar and Microsoft certainly took a page out of Apple's playbook- limiting user customization in order to eliminate instability. Which isn't a bad thing. Need more apps though, which will come in time but some apps I expected to be there already.

I think they want you to legal-tether, so they can get an extra +$20/month from you

that's fine but WP7 doesn't even off that. That's the point. If you want to pay extra to legally tether you have to get an Android device or iPhone.

WP7 also doesn't have LTE, WiMax, or HSPA+ support so I guess I can kinda see the lack of tethering, but when I tether on my HD2 I get really fast speeds on HSDPA so it would still be cool.

But there is no legal/paid/legit tethering on WP7 at all, if you want to tether buy an Evo
