I said within 1 year which means anywhere from today to 1 year from now at the most. there's already remote desktop apps so it is there.

Features were removed to provide a stable platform upon which to expand.

Also, why there is almost no compatibility between Windows Mobile and Windows Phone.
As of right now the former has more features at the cost of being on 'dated' hardware and instability.
