It's not that big of an issue. The browser in the arrive is worlds better than the one in the tp2 so there is less of a need to run to a PC.

Isn't there a hack for all HTC phones, or is the arrive too new?

Have to respectfully disagree. If you're in spot without wifi, teathering with the TP2 is very handy. Seems like an advanced phone should at least be able to do all the things the predecessor phone can do.
