Sending MMS on Sprint depends on a solid data connection, otherwise, yes you're bound to encounter issues. Ironically, Friday night I was in a low-signal area but had wifi... turned off data to force wifi usage, and MMS still wouldn't work. Don't know if that's a quirk of Sprint or Windows Phone, but I ended up using wifi to post to Facebook instead. Was just gonna MMS a pic to someone who wasn't on FB and had to wait.

I have not been able to DL an MMS on wifi... I assumed we had to be on Sprint's network to do it.

I have the same issue sending and receiving MMS... a soft reset always fixes it for a while. a hard reset did not fix it for me permanently...

even still... I reboot this phone a whole lot less than my EVO get rebooted.

yup, if you get a picture and you get the "download media" link, and clicking it does nothing simply restart the phone.
