A question about Verizon's data network

Hey all, I'd just like to say this is a great community. I have found everything I need for my PPC. WM6 is great!

Unfortunately this is definatly a n00b question that has probably been addressed before. I have been wondering this since I first got my PPC two weeks ago. As many may know, Verizon uses #777 to connect to their data network. About a month ago, I was using my LGVX9800 to connect to the internet through USB cable, and this was free after 9:00pm (when we get free calls). I wasn't sure If this was applicable to the PPC or not. I have no idea why I question this, except the fact that it IS Verizon, and I don't want to get charged $0.015 per kilobyte of data

So, to sum up, does Verizon charge minutes to use their data network after 9pm (free calling time)? And also does it make a difference in price if I am on EVDO or 1X? Thank you.

If you don't specifically have an unlimited data plan you will get charged for minutes and data.

With the unlimited data plan data time doesn't go against your minutes - but verizon does warn on their website that even if you don't have a data plan with a PPC your internet will still work - but you will be charged a really high rate.
