DWord: Keep Set Value: 0 0x0(0)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Services\Power
DWord: ShowIcon Set Value: 0 0x0(0)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Services\ScreenRotate
DWord: ShowIcon Set Value: 0 0x0(0)

So in your registry editor you would go to HKLM and then to Services and then to Wireless Mgr and change the Keep from what ever to it currently to 0. And the same goes for Power and ScreenRotate

Okay I am very new at this as you will be able to tell from this next question...but I would like to try a couple of the suggestions in this post however I am not sure how to access the files to do it...

for example when it says "/HKCU"...how do I get to that folder from my phone? like where is it located?

That folder is in the registry. All Windows config info is in the registry. On a PC you edit the registry by running "regedit". On the PPC (6700), you need to install a registry editing program, see Weed's post above your's. There is always the warning that you should not change the registry if you don't feel comfortable or have never done it before. It can be very bad if you change something you were not supposed to.

ok so i tried a couple of the hacks listed here...for instance the one to change the "message sent" dialog, however none of the hacks seem to be working. All the fields are filled in the way they are supposed to be, and when I go back to total commander the fields are changed, but they don't seem to be affecting my phone. I even tried a soft reset after changes...any suggestions??

I PROMISE if you do them right they will work, I used to do all my hacks manually. However, with that being said, go and download Advanced Configuration Tool v2.1 and use some of its options. There is also this .cab file here which supplements ACT v2.1 All it is is a GUI that applies reg tweaks behind the scene.
