Exe Files

HELLO,

Im new to the forums and just picked up my first ppc, Can exe files be installed to these phones? I am trying to get a weather app and they are all exe files and the phone will not install them.

.EXE can only be installed on the PC and when the phone is connected and synch'ed. Only .CAB files can be x-ferred over to the phone and install ON the phone.

Make sure you have activesync on your computer and a valid partnership set up with your phone. Once that is done click on the .exe via your computer and it should kick off Active sync and install the app on your phone.
