Working Voice Command with announce

Many thanks to LennySH, and Kyppcgeek as they did all the hard work all that was done was to package it into 1 cab.

Ok First this has been tested with Apache WM6 Only. Came up with a 1 cab install for VoiceCommand with the announce fix, some may call it a workaround but who cares it works. Install the cab and after cab is installed soft reset. Now on reboot an ID Transfer window will open up Click Hide then ok. Turn on your Bluetooth on ppc and connect your headset to ppc. That is it, nothing more ....easy huh. If you want to change the ringtone you can go to start/settings/phone and chang the ringer silent is what comes with this cab but oldphone has been tested also.

Wow, over 100 views but no comments. Well, I'll go first. This cab solution works perfectly for me. I'm now able to get VC to announce properly each and every time over Bluetooth (not the external speaker).

Some notes:

1. When you install this, you must remove LennySH's BT fix, VC itself, and whatever else you may have installed pertinent to WM6 Voice Command Bluetooth related issues.

2. Side effect, before if you turned off your BT headset but Blueooth was still enabled on the phone it would announce the phone number (and the call) over the external speaker. Now, even though there is no bluetooth device attached it'll still go over Bluetooth (I assume). Which means, you won't get an alert that you're getting a phone call.... which could be an issue. The fix for this is to just turn off Bluetooth when not in use.

Whomever worked on this, thank you for all of your hard work. It is appreciated.

Basically, it (with one quick cab installation file) uses the fix from this thread just simplified: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=9239 there are no additional steps needed after (other than a soft reset). It does all of the major/time consuming steps for you.
