Clock Reset vx6700

Has anyone else had an issue with the clock/time resetting after every soft reset on the AKU 3.5?

I made a basic custom rom using the Helmi kitchen and am having this problem. I switched back to the UTStarcom release for Verizon til I can figure out what went wrong.

Even when automatic time sync is checked and reset I have the same problem.

Any ideas?

Use the latest version of the kitchen (1.0.4). It was an earlier version of the kitchen that had that bug.

Aha! I thought I had the latest version, but I was using 1.0.3 instead.
I'll go ahead and d/l the latest kitchen.

Thanks a ton!

Hmm, that's interesting. I am also using Helmi's WM6 ROM, but for me, the clock does revert to the right time after soft reset.
I'm not expert at this, but I remember reading somewhere that how it saves is that every minute the clock is suppose to save the time into the registry so i suppose it loads it then.(also every minute is when it dumps the registry changes in RAM to ROM)

Clock Reset on WM6

I think I fixed it. I reloaded the ROM and the clock is not resetting after a soft reset. OK for now.
