Battery error

I searched the forums, but can not find the answer for this...
I regularly get a "Low Battery" pop up error. The problem is that the battery can be fully charged when I get this. When I pull up the battery status, rather than it saying "Main Battery: Li-Ion" I get "Main Battery: Unknown"
It typically takes a soft reset to clear it, and then the battery is seen again, and the level of power (90% right now) is shown. I have two batteries, and both have this issue.
Any thoughts? Could I just have two bad batteries? The life is fine on both of them.
I have a Verizon version of a 6700. I had this problem with the stock WM5, and now again with WM6.

Thanks for any thoughts on this!

Bill

This used to happen to me with one of my ppc replacements and 1st ppc. after i got the low battery thing, my phone contrast would go up to high then it would say something about Installing a Device Driver, then it would start to close everything in sight. SO even if i tried to open anything for example my messages or a software it would say "software.exe not found." then i would have to reset **sighs** but i think it was a software i had installed causing it. i think it was Agile Mobile Messenger or something else. because now on my fourth replacement (refurb) without it is fine.

So in other words its prolly a software you have installed lol causing the problem.

If you have insurance on the phone.... you could turn it in and get a new phone.... I have sprint with insurance.... if my phone has any problems like that... i just call sprint and a new one is in the mail.....( this also helps keep the phone looking new).... Have you tried a hard reset to see if that helps?
