I'm still gonna get it. Probably take it apart and paint it but i'll still get it... Only problem with painting it is the buttons on the sides are blue too... Maybe i'll just live with it being ugly for now... We need a CDMA answer to the HTC Kaiser!

Absolutely. I don't know whateveryone is so tweaked about. The blue doesn't look that bad to me. Not my first choice, mind you, but not THAT bad. Though I am all about function and substance over form and style.

Can't say I agree with that - in fact, I'm with bedoig on this one - the mono-colored case of the PPC6700 looks plain and cheap IMHO. Not that appearance is that big of an issue, I just like the two-tone look of the XV6700 better.

I agree, I don't think the blue looks that bad at all and I prefer the verizon case to the sprint case on the 6700.

I'll have to see it in person to judge, but regardless Verizon wins on coverage in my area. I just swapped my Sprint WWAN card for a Verizon at work today and now I get uniterrupted EVDO-A connections on my entire trainride home. Sprint would drop and roam and fail to connect all along the way. I *wish* Sprint had better coverage because I'd already have a 6800. Even though WM6 is humming along pretty well on my 6700 now, I'd like to regain some of that valuable pocket real estate.
