Text messages don't show the sender

Hi,

Since the 6.0 upgrade, all is great except the text messages. The sender is not shown and if I hit reply, it wants to use the subject as the sender of the message.

Anyone else facing this?

I had that issue because I failed to follow the directions the first time and I let my carrier customizations load. After reflashing I hit the soft reset like the directions said before the carrier customizations could load. All has been well since.

Thanks for the quick reply. I followed the thread from another website so I must have missed the directions.

I will try again.

I was told to just goto messaging, menu, options, tap text messages, uncheck request delivery notifications.

I haven't tried this from another phone, but from messing.sprintpcs.com it works fine now.

Let the PPST phone customization run... I dumped everything out of my Extended ROM except for the PPST cab plus the autorun app and edited the config file to just install the PPST cab so that I can still use EPST codes (##778# on Sprint is an example).

Without this package, no combination of codes was getting me in so I could program my phone.
