xv6700 - Is there a way to turn off the blinking leds?

I don't know why, but blinking leds drive me insane. Is there a way to shut them off? If there is a way to make it blink only when there is a missed call or txt, that would be cool, but I don't want the green and blue leds blinking.

I'm running WM6 if that matters.

Yes there is but I believe they give adverse side effects to other things in the phone,

Hkey_Local_Machine/Drivers/Builtin/AllLEDMgr
And change the Index value from 1 to 0
Then soft reset.

The adverse side effects to which weedahoe is referring: vibrate mode will be disabled, no workaround that I know of.

Sweet, that worked. Hopefully it doesn't screw too much up.

Re: xv6700 - Is there a way to turn off the blinking leds?

i found a new way
download task manager from one of the custom roms for the 6700. in there you can unload services. I did that and my led's no longer work. I cannot reload it either. I am without LED's now forever.
