there are fewer bugs with the cooked rom than there were with the stock rom. And it runs faster. You would be insane to not install it.

I have installed a cooked rom. A2DP didn't even work this well with the old version.
I've played with the bitpool but it seems pretty pointless. First, it never stops the skipping it just makes the skips less frequent and the quality goes to hell in the process. The reaction of the skips to the change in bitpool works something like this so far as I've seen METAPHOR TIME! If my connection is like a rubber band and the skips are like little lines put on the band at regular intervals then decreasing the bitpool is like stretching the band out. The more I stretch it the less frequently the skips come but they always come after the same "amount" of data. With a higher bitpool transmitting rates between my PPC and the headset are faster thus the skips happen faster. If I reduce the speed then the skips happen less frequently... but I still get the same number of them per data transferred. Again, what makes this so annoying is that if I follow the protocol specified above then I get a PERFECT connection. Which means that this CAN work given the right conditions... with FULL bandwidth. Someone with knowledge of A2DP help me. |

Hes got sound, he just found a way for it to be perfect sound, and trying to find a hack to get it to always be like that.
