Re: Question on 6700

Go into boot loader mode, power+record+reset and its on the bottom of the screen. no back light will be on so it looks like it's off, just use a flashlight or the window and move the screen angle until you can see it. I'm sure search would show this info up, I've personally posted it a couple of times by now.

Re: Question on 6700

1 More question...what happens if I've flashed the wrong version to my 6700?

I am saying that because I've flashed the latest version 2.## to my version 1.00
??

Re: Question on 6700

You won't flash a wrong version, the RUU just won't work. The first number before the decimal represents hardware versions, not software. Basically only the later number matter. V1.00 and V1.02 and V2.02 are all the same. But V1.04 and V2.04 and V2.05 are the same.

Re: Question on 6700

Oh and flashing will require a hard reset after it's done anyways. On top of that, you flashed the phone, nothing will be left from before. Going into bootloader and NOT flashing will not hard reset the phone.

Re: Question on 6700

Hi RDRenfro! Push Power+Record+Reset and then hold all three until the screen goes grey.
