How did you receive an mms from alltel before this?
First of all....Palm? eww.... Second of all, before this, I think either we did not have anything come in at all, or if it did, it was a text message. But the choice for sprint to not send MMS to certain phones I believe is all in their network settings. I believe if we can either find out if the servers are different on one of the phones that do recieve MMS on sprint, like the katana, or if maybe we can find out a UAProf for one of those phones, and plug that into the 6700 to make the 6700 look like another phone, then it may work then....

All future responses to this need to be put at the link below. I have three or four forums with this same thread, and am trying to answer them all, but it's hard since they are all in different places.

Cool Arcsoft Pics/Vids 3.0.26.12C

Just so you know, at the thread linked in the above post, I have a newer version of the MMS app, and am continuing to try and get an even newer version working. Please subscribe to that thread for updates.

The app I have listed on the 1st post of that thread is the newest version from the Alltel Touch/Vogue. Also, I have the OEM attached as well. The CAB has Alltel settings already included. The OEM does not. The OEM is designed for the Apache WM6 Kitchen because the kitchen does the settings for you depending on which carrier you select. Please let me know how this works out for you on that thread only.

Re: Alltel 6700 MMS Working!!

I can't seem to download any of the files needed. It just says that its not found. I've even tried an FTP program and can't get a connection. Can we post these files somewhere else or someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Re: Alltel 6700 MMS Working!!

So I finally get to the servers and none of these files are listed anymore...
What should I do? I'd really like to get my MMS working.

1. Have Alltel add picture messaging to the line your 6700 is on.

2. Make sure you have MMS Composer 3.0.6.24 installed on your device. Link below if you need to download it.

ftp://ppcgeeks:ezupload@ftp.ppcgeeks...MS3.0.6.24.zip

3. Download the Alltel MMS cab below.

ftp://ppcgeeks:ezupload@ftp.ppcgeeks...ry for MMS.cab

4. Install MMS Composer on your device if you haven't already.

5. Run my cab to fix all of the issue's related to why we have not been able to do this in the past.

6. Perform a soft reset to make sure all setting's take affect.

7. Send your first picture message, and request someone to send you a message in return.

Later on, I'll post the setting's you'll need to start doing the video messaging.

I can be reached in the chat here at PPCGeeks as often as I can if you need to ask me anything in realtime.
Ok new to this site also... My phone has been moded by dash, "spj" kaos edition, looks great but most stuff is sprint based i need my picture messaging back, can u help please! Been trying for weeks to find a solution to this problem....
Thanks so much in advance,
Trip
