WM6 returning to today screen

Every time the phone is woken it will always return to the today screen. In WM5 this didnt happen, if the device went to sleep, once woken you were back where you left off.

Does anyone know if there is a reg setting for this. Or, maybee the HTC X button has something to do with this.

Never the less its annoying.

Using HTC X Button here too, but it always goes back to what I was doing. I have resco explorer open a lot so most times it wakes up to that, or the registry editor.

What is your Today screen time out set to? Check Start > Settings > Today > Items
It should take your phone back to the Today screen after it reaches that threshold.

As well it depends on what program you are talking about it opening to upon power on... anything on the storage cards have a good possibility of being shut down when the phone is off.

I have the today timeout unchecked. This is how I've had it set up with all the other Roms.

Basically I would have a contact open or calendar item and once woken no matter how long it would be asleep it would be back to the today screen.
