$100 rebate from UTStarcom

Rebate ended mid-January. Don't think it matters how you got your phone, so long as you have some paper recipt with the sale date before the 15th - you need to submit it within 10 days or something.... so you may be too late.

FYI they are totally backlogged processing the rebates - I called in yesterday (submitted mine end of OCTOBER!) and was told mine was in "final processing" - a couple more weeks left. They're doing them, but they are way behind

wow October!!! i sent mine on the 12th i was hoping they get it processed so i can switch the 6700 to my main line!!!

Interesting, this one is showing valid again:

Original cash register receipt or packing slip showing purchase of PPC6700 receipt dated from 10/01/06 thru 03/31/07.

Wonder if this will work with the Sprint $150 on Amazon (doesn't need to be purchased through Amazon)

SERO price is 288.99.

Both want the original receipt or packing slip, but only the utstarcom one wants the UPC.

Ooo they extended it! It was supposed to end 1/15/07 (that was the date on my rebate form ) Guess they really did run late with that 6800...

Anyway, good deal if you can get it. Puts it in the ballpark of $200 after rebates/deals/whatever... $200 for a 6700, kinda a steal.

I bought mine on the jan 15th.... so I was kinda down that the rebate had just ran out..... it turns out that they have extended it till April.... At least thats what the website is saying..... i want to call and confirm....

Anyone know if I have to agree to a one or two year Sprint subscriber agreement if I bought my 6700 off ebay?

Assuming it's a Sprint branded 6700, there shouldn't be any required agreement. In the context of this thread though, I don't think it really makes sense.
