Hi usib, I had the same issue, in my case, for some odd reason the data settings in the programming changed to a different number that I did not know.
you would need your lock code (which you could get by calling 18773282123..bell mobility Technical solutions) and reprogram you phone to the correct settings. that worked for me! |

No, this didn't work. The phone does not accept programming; it looked like it just completely forgot its own ESN.
What's worse, is that after trying to go back to the official ROM, the upgrade said "not designed for this device", and now the device is stuck in bootloader ![]() |

Sounds like when you updated, it changed your bootloader to a newer version that you can't change back. One suggestion would be to download the newest helmi 3.5 rom or kitchen. The packages have options for the new bootloader.

Very close to it, I first blindly followed advice on the wiki, to update to the latest official ROM from the carrier, before flashing the WM6 ROM. That got me the 2.04 bootloader, after which Naiga had to show me the package with the very very old ROM to get back to 2.02 (or at least so it says on the LCD screen about itself). After that BL restoration, only the NoID RUU can flash anything; but it flashed WM6 with no problem, but now this problem with the phone.

I'm not to familiar with bell's update procedure but you might call the *whatever to get to customer service and see if there is an option to activate the phone. I know on my 6800 when I upgraded to WM6, I had to reactivate the phone to get to my local system. In settings/phone does it show the correct phone number?
