Contacts not opening

Well I renamed my contacts folder pimold.vol then pasted the WM5 file into my XV6700 WM6 and now I have History comming up. So then I clicked on Contacts and the screen refreshes and nothing. I have tried this a few times. Here is the old thread. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...light=contacts

So I am getting closer thanks to the help from the members on this forum. Thanks, JAS

I also brought up the History and clicked on each name/number and then clicked Menu > Save to Contacts. Then tried it and again the screen refreshes and nothing

So you took a file from WM5 and tried to merge it with WM6? Is this what I am understanding? Have you checked or re-mapped the directory path from the icon or soft button you are using?

I see this is like your third thread you have started about this problem.
Your best bet is going to be to follow the instructions that I gave you in the other thread.
I have found that to be the easiest way to backup all my PIM info.
That is going to be the easiest way to do it.
It should only take you about 40 minutes to do the whole thing.

I can't sync with my phone. My PC has a bad MB so I am on a old Comcrap. I will find a way to do this. There is a member here that has been helping me. I am sorry about the different threads but I have received different responses on them. So it depends on how it's worded and at what section the problem is mentioned.

go to mail2web and setup a free exchange account. Sync the contacts up wtih an old wm5 rom, the sync down with a new one. It's not a big deal if you actually have the files.....
