WM6 ( SPRINT) and missed calls anyone?

After I installed this WM6, I have been recevign missed calls a lot. 98 % of callers say it just goes staright to Voice Mail, also receive TXT msgs late. Mine is a SPRINT service and I have the latest PRL 20229 and the latest Radio 1.41.Does anyone else have the same issue?
Thanks in advance.

I have not clue about the late txt messages...it could just be a network thing, but I've heard of similar issues with voice calls. Has this happened to you before? It could just be bad coverage resulting in dropped calls.

If callers are truly not hearing any rings and it goes straight to voicemail then I recommend you flash back to stock rom (and radio) and see if problem persists. If it does, there's a hardware problem with your phone. Otherwise here are some things to consider:

1. are you using a 3rd party app like Photocontacts Pro, phonelarm? If so, is it installed to main memory?
2. Are your ringtones on the storage card or main memory?
3. Are you using a 3rd party PUSH service?
4. If none of the previous questions apply to you, perhaps you should check this thread regarding 'delayed ringer response'. Basically with CDMA networks like Sprint, the network fakes out the caller with a "fake" ring or two while trying to find your phone on the network. Here's a fix http://pdaphonehome.com/forums/ppc-6...cle-index.html

i've been having the same prob also. sometimes my connection would stall on both data and phone even with both icons showing service. a soft reset would correct this. I would also find my phone going in flight mode sometimes also. I just disabled flight mode so hopefully this gets corrected. Im also on sprint w wm6. I think the finger flick program caused the connection prob though. I had to hard reset a few days ago and everything has been fine.

I used to have this problem all the time. Anytime I soft/hard reset or flash the rom, I place an out-going call to make sure the towers/servers know my phone is on...haven't had a problem since...

For me, downgrading to the 1.27 radio fixed this problem to about 98%. The rest I think is all Sprint.
