Cyberon Voice Dial / Voice Tag over Bluetooth??

Hi folks,

I'm back to Verizon's official WM5 image (5.1.195). It comes with Cyberon Voice Dial (voice tags). I don't want to buy Microsoft Voice command, so please don't suggest that.

My problem is that when I press the bluetooth headset's button, nothing happens. I need to press the button on the side of the phone to bring up voice dial. I had a T-mobile WM5 smartphone which used voice tags too and there I was able to
1) press bluetooth button
2) speak the voice tag
3) dial -> talk
4) press button to hang up.

So, how can I tell cyberon voice tags to run when I press the bluetooth button? Right now if I press button 5 (recorder), it runs. I also want to remap the bluetooth headset's button but can't find the way to do so ...

Thanks

you need to record your voice on contact list ( every single name ) and then you can use voice tag

I didn't have to do anything on mine, it just worked.. I pressed the button my headset, and the OEM voice dial would kick in...

and when I wehnt to the WM6 build, I still didn't have to map anything there either to get the headset button to do its job

you have correctly paired the devices right?

I've created the voicetags etc but the problem I was having was even after that, if I pressed the Bluetooth headsets button, the phone wouldn't do ANYTHING. It's supposed to show the voice tags app on the screen, beep in your earpiece and then listen to the microphone.

Also, yes, I had paired the devices. In fact I had also removed and re-paired them but to no avail...

Anyway, I got it working, but by voodoo magic. I simply reflashed the phone again (with the same Verizon's latest official release) and this time it worked. Don't ask me how. I'm just wondering how to fix it if it ever stopped working ... anyway, that's for later ... why worry now!
