another 6700 Camera issue

is it jus me or does anyone elses camera on the 6700 skip a frame when in video record mode. it does not record smooth at all. it might record smooth for 5secs.... skips a big frame... record good for another 5secs... then skips another big frame. it is annoying and i am tired of using my brothers Treo650 for recording. has anyone found a way to fix this or is the 6700's camera the only flaw this phone has???

I have found that when saving the video to the internal storage of the ppc6700, the video will not skip.
When saving to the miniSD storage card I experience the same frame-skip.
You can reduce the frame-skip when recording to the miniSD card by setting the Ambience to your current light conditions.
Try not to use AUTO. Another tip when recording is to record a static scene. Hold the phone a still as possible.
I have found that the smallest movement will cause the frame-skip.
I agree that the camera in the 6700 stinks. My wife has an old Sprint Sanyo MM-5600, and it takes beautiful still-shots and video.

Agreed, I just posted a similiar issue about the camera and it sucking at taking video. I have bumped up my framerate as well as reduced resolution and recording image type (mpeg, avi, 3g2) and I still have the same issues. It truely sux.
