I have found that when saving the video to the internal storage of the ppc6700, the video will not skip.
When saving to the miniSD storage card I experience the same frame-skip. You can reduce the frame-skip when recording to the miniSD card by setting the Ambience to your current light conditions. Try not to use AUTO. Another tip when recording is to record a static scene. Hold the phone a still as possible. I have found that the smallest movement will cause the frame-skip. I agree that the camera in the 6700 stinks. My wife has an old Sprint Sanyo MM-5600, and it takes beautiful still-shots and video. ~Syn Last edited by synaptyc; 09-10-2007 at 02:34 PM. |

Agreed, I just posted a similiar issue about the camera and it sucking at taking video. I have bumped up my framerate as well as reduced resolution and recording image type (mpeg, avi, 3g2) and I still have the same issues. It truely sux.
