Glitch with Internet and Speakerphone

Hey all. Using AKU 3.5 1.04 kitchen with the following glitch. If I am surfing net (sprint) and get incoming call, my phone is answering in speakerphone, whether I hit software answer key on screen or if I hit green hardware key. The only time this happens is if I am on an active net connection. Does anyone else have the same problem as me or is there a solution?

I had the same problem with AKU 3.5 and WM6. A quick fix is just to keep EVDO always on so that it's not trying to dial in while you're getting or making a call.

Im having the same problem but it goes a little deeper for me.

When ever Im on the net and recieve a phone call the phone sometimes recieves the call but most of the times it will lock up for about 10-20 seconds and then switch to the phone app with the speakerphone on. but it will give me a missed phone call notification and report that im talking to an unknown caller. other times it just doesnt do anything and I have to soft reset. Because of this problem I have had to turn off all of my sync software and anything that recieves data automatically.

I can make and recieve calls normally if the internet connection is not on. I can also surf the internet without any problems.

I have had this problem with two different phones and with an original rom and about every other rom for my phone. Right now I on the alltel rom.

And I just tried the always on internet hack and still get the same problem.

any help would be great.

After 2 of my recent flashes, I've had something similar but, to my recollection, it's only been the first call after the flash. Both times when I hit the softkey ANSWER button, it picked up with the speakerphone, and I can't turn it off and I can't end the call. Once the caller ended the call, the phone returned to normal function. As I said, I only remember it happening the first call after the flash, and it's only happened to me 2 or 3 times out of the dozens of flashes I've done. I've not been able to tie it to any other factors, other than the 1st call after the flash.

I have had this problem as well, after the flash to Helmi WinMo 6, calls answered resulted in locked up phone, answering in speakerphone and also unknown caller. After playing with my HTC Home Customizer and resetting many times, it seems like the phone is back to normal today. No lock ups/speakerphone/unknown callers.

So I suggest that you try resetting a few times if you are experiencing the aforementioned issues.

That doesnt help me. I first thought that it was some sort of software that was causing it so I uninstalled everything one by one until I found that it was anytime that the phone had an active or even inactive but connected data connection.

I have tried to revert back to a verizon rom. tried the plain and simple roms. I am going to try the WM6 rom tonight. I have tried to upgrade my radio stack. now Im running 1.41 I might try to go back to see if thats the problem. I have evey tried to let verizon's phone customizations to run to see if that would help the problem.

So far everythings a NoGo.
