So whats the problem? No 1 is dedicated for VM access. Or are you trying to say you cannot assign VM to No1? If that is the case, then go to your phone then Menu and Options and in the Voicemail box just add *86.

In phone->Menu->Options, Voicemail is listed as my cell number.
When in phone, if you press and hold #1 it doesn't call voicemail like the other speed dial's do. I've currently assigned my cell# to another speed dial as a workaround. |

Tried the registry change. Now in HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Vmail, I have:
(Default) (value not set) PhoneNumber1 PhoneNumber2 UserProvidedNumber *86 I had to add the string key UserProvidedNumber as it did not exist. No change. As I hold down "1", nothing happens. |
