Speed Dial

Hi,
I just found this site, great work! I just downloaded the Bell rom for my Audiovox PPC-6700, it installed without any problems.
In Device information I have:
ROM version: 3.50.00 WWE
ROM Date: 4/25/07

Just trying to re-setup things, and after a pain of getting my contacts to re-sync, I can't setup speed dial "1". This is typically my cell's phone number to get to voicemail. In the speed dial menu it starts at "none" and goes to "2". There is no option "1".

Any suggestions?

Thanks

So whats the problem? No 1 is dedicated for VM access. Or are you trying to say you cannot assign VM to No1? If that is the case, then go to your phone then Menu and Options and in the Voicemail box just add *86.

In phone->Menu->Options, Voicemail is listed as my cell number.
When in phone, if you press and hold #1 it doesn't call voicemail like the other speed dial's do.

I've currently assigned my cell# to another speed dial as a workaround.

Thats fine, you can call your own cell number and get your VM. But whenyou do press and hold the number 1, what does it dial (if anything)?

Tried the registry change. Now in HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Vmail, I have:
(Default) (value not set)
PhoneNumber1
PhoneNumber2
UserProvidedNumber *86

I had to add the string key UserProvidedNumber as it did not exist.

No change. As I hold down "1", nothing happens.
