Do a good deed for a n00b today
I am sed n00b and I'm having a couple of problems with my Sprint 6700. And here they are.
1. .Cab files. When I put the file on the phone then unrar (the file type is associated with my WinRAR) the file it doesn't list my phone in the list to extract them to. So I figured that I could unrar them to the desktop and dran-and-drop them onto my SD card. Well, as you guessed, that did nothing. What am I doing wrong? My OS on my computer is Vista, if that makes any difference. And....I've seem to have forgotten my other problem. Anyhoo, any and all help is greatly appreciated.

you dont unrar cab files on your phone, you place the entire CAB on your phone and then click it to run it, it is a self extracint/isntalling file.

Well...that was logical. No wonder why I couldn't figure that out.
OH! My second problem is that I cannot seem to locate the 2.07.20 WWE ROM for download. I thought 2.06 was the latest and greatest. WHOOPS! Anyone know where one could get a hold of it?

I would suggest taking some time to read the forums and learn about custom roms. You can get WM6 on your phone when you are ready.
