sprint phone as a modem

Do you need the extra sprint charge to use a phone as a modem with wm6 on a 6700. Or can you just use the $15 for unlimited phone internet?

I've used Internet Sharing in both wm5 and wm6 and both work fine. As far as usage, i use it randomly. Sometimes for a short time period and sometimes for several hours and have had no additional charges.
