Default Font on Comm Manager changed.

Hi there..

I'm running Helmi's WM6 build on my xv6700. no major issues, in fact, it runs better than it did with WM5 isntalled.

anyway... I recently noticed that the font on my communcations manager had changed, and I am not sure what I did to cause it, and would like to change it back. the new font is remincent of something you would see on an old atari 2600 or something, big letters, very pixelated, and the longer words get cut off..

anyhelp?

Have you installed any programs? There's a thread out there that points the finger at some newly installed apps that have themes built in. If you have installed any apps lately, try uninstalling them one by one with a soft reset in between each. You should be able to pinpoint the offender that way.

If you haven't installed any apps, I read a post that stated a reinstall of the ROM resolved the problem. Be sure to skip the carrier customizations (soft reset as soon as you see the "Customizing in 3..2..1" prompt.)

I had the same problem & determined it to be caused by installing WeatherPanel. With WP uninstalled, the font is normal.

You can still install WeatherPanel and not have this option...

Delete the BRADHITC.ttf and Pixel.ttf font files from the Marsware\WeatherPanel\Themes\Default folder

Search and ye shall find:
