from my understanding there are no soft phone apps out there or apps like skype and fring that allow you to use the internal speaker. Am I correct? The hope with WM6 is that this issue would be fixed.
The only fix I saw was using Shapeservices' IM+ for Skype, but I can't say it's true VOIP calling. It doesn't use an active data connection for the call. Only use this software with unlimited skype calling. It basically routes the call through ur number and calls you back through your skype number, therefore incurring double the airtime. Once you answer the call it'll also count towards your carrier's minutes. btw, has anyone seen this article before? http://nerdvittles.com/index.php?p=124 Last edited by saqer; 09-11-2007 at 01:33 PM. |

tried SJPhone, and find it's a nifty piece of work. I'm gonna go ahead and guess no, but has anyone been able to use SJPhone with skype?

{SOLVED} How to configure VoIP/SIP client in WM6. -http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=299950 |

WM6 does have a built in SIP client, I use it on my jasjar and have it connected to my asterisk box. I haven't been able to get the SIP client to even initiate on CDMA devices. On my GSM devices I don't have a problem but the CDMA devices are not working which sucks because Rev A is coming very soon.
